Here's a Common Mistake New Network Marketers Make

Here's a common mistake that a lot of new Network Marketers make when they get started. They find the perfect product and see the opportunity behind it and literally fall in love.

Here's something they don't understand and what I didn't when I first started. Save your breath, believe it or not your prospects don't care about your product.

And then you say "What do I do now?"

You're told to go be a robot, read some script without understanding why because your up line tells you it’s duplicable.

I'm not saying that having a strong conviction to your business and product is wrong I think it's an absolute key factor in your success, I’m saying you need to see your opportunity from your prospects view.

They don't know you. They don't know your product. They don't know your business. And at first they don't care.

If someone had told me what I'm about to say 2 years ago it all would have made a lot of sense.

At the beginning, your prospect only cares about what's in it for them. While we are taught a script and try to say it verbatim because we've been told that's what is going to make our business grow we end up taking our prospect completely out of the picture.

We need to ask them what they want.

If only I had stopped when I first started my network marketing business to ask my prospect what matters most to them, what their biggest fears is and what their greatest aspirations are instead of reading a script to them.

In marketing, the person that wins is the one that knows his or her prospects biggest problems and greatest dreams and then gives them a solution to help them reach their dreams.

Ask your prospect about their hopes and dreams as well as their biggest fears when it comes to your business.

Then as you interact with your prospect, don't sell sell sell,rather ask, ask, ask. Listen to what their needs are first. Then you will be able to know how you can help them achieve it with your opportunity.

Take lots of notes on what your prospect says. Once you know these things you'll be light years ahead of the competition.
